Your Tasks

Role Introduction


  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong foundation in technical support, product sustaining engineering, and cross-functional project management.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product improvement initiatives, managing customer-driven engineering programs, and leading complex technical issue resolution activities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • This role serves as a key interface between service teams, manufacturing, and R&D organizations, translating technical challenges into structured project plans while ensuring effective execution, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery.

 

Your Mission


Technical Project Management

  • Lead strategic product sustaining activities, including:
  • Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP)
  • Product Change Notifications (PCN)
  • End-of-Life (EOL) management
  • Product reliability improvement initiatives
  • Customer escalation projects
  • Establish project scope, milestones, resource plans, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
  • Drive project execution through regular reviews, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Transform technical issues and business requirements into structured improvement roadmaps with defined ownership, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure project objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.

Technical Support Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary engineering representative for escalated technical issues originating from customers, manufacturing, field service, and supply chain organizations.
  • Translate customer requirements, operational challenges, and field issues into actionable engineering work packages.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes, corrective actions, and long-term solutions.
  • Work closely with design engineers and subject matter experts to define technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure accountability for project commitments and deliverables.
  • Present technical assessments, project status updates, and improvement plans to management and customers.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct resource planning and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Identify project risks proactively and drive mitigation plans before escalation.
  • Develop preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and implementation of lessons learned across engineering teams.

Your Profile

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, or related industries.
  • In addition, candidates should possess either:
  • 3+ years of Technical Support / Product Sustaining Engineering experience, or
  • 3+ years of Technical Project Management experience.

 

Minimum Qualifications


Product Lifecycle Management

  • Strong experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ownership of sustaining engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle. Practical experience with:
    • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
    • PDM (Product Data Management)
    • DIR (Document Information Record)
    • PCN (Product Change Notification)
    • ECR/ECN (Engineering Change Request / Engineering Change Notice)
    • Ability to ensure technical documents are completed, reviewed, and released in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.

Technical & Communication Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in semiconductor process equipment or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong technical affinity and the ability to quickly understand complex systems and interdependencies.
  • Proven experience working closely with design engineering teams to successfully deliver technical projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and structured working methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels and drive improvement initiatives.
