Your Tasks

  1. Test Planning and Execution
    • Plan, set up, and perform measurements and tests to evaluate functionality and performance.
    • Analyze data, draw conclusions, and write structured test reports.
    • Define suitable testing strategies based on product requirements.
    • Choose appropriate test methods, tools, or external partners if needed.
  2. Communication and Consultation
    • Provide advice to internal departments (engineering, production, product management) on how to measure product requirements.
    • Discuss test results with requesters and stakeholders.
    • Clarify testing needs and document consultation results, even when no measurement is required.
    • Documentation (Provide transparent reporting to stakeholders, i.e. Module Experts and System Architects)
  3. Test Equipment Management
    • Monitor the calibration status of test equipment used for customer- or authority-relevant measurements.
    • Future, after on-the-job training and first successfully completed testing tasks: create and maintain short usage guides or quick-start manuals.
    • Track location of measurement devices using a centralized system (e.g., wiki-based inventory).

Your Profile

  • Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Hsinchu, Taiwan office

  • Experience Level:
    We welcome candidates with at least 6 months to 3+ years of professional or research-related experience.
    Ideal profiles include:

    • 1–2 years of experience after a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

    • Around 3 years of combined experience in relevant fields

    • 3+ years post-Master’s experience considered highly desirable

  • Relevant Experience:
    Experience in the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:

    • R&D testing in technology companies or test laboratories

    • Semiconductor process technology (ideally lithography)

    • Design and development of special machinery or systems

  • Additional Skills:
    Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical, optical systems, or industrial robots is a plus.

  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Use and maintenance of measurement/test systems

    • Ability to build setups, run measurements, analyze, and report results (requires ingenuity/creativity)

    • Knowledge of quality/statistical methods (e.g. DOE, MSA) is a plus

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel emphasized); SAP is an advantage

  • Language Skills:
    • English: Fluent (C1 or native)

    • Mandarin: Fluent

  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and teamwork

    • High independence and initiative

    • Attention to detail and strong documentation habits
