Mechanical Design Engineer - Scanner (m/w/d)

We are looking for talented mechanical engineer who has experience in mechanical system design of process machine. You will become team member of DSC product engineering team, your responsibility is to demonstrate your design skill to fulfill any requirements of product development. You will be working in an international working environment. We expect the candidate is fluent in English, with mature communication and teamwork skill for better efficiency.

Tasks:

1. Demonstrate your design skill for designing and optimizing the mechanical module of the DSC lithography process machine.
2. Possess strong DOE ability for system error analysis and execute test plan.
3. Involved in NPI project to MFG team for new system, feature and technology. Perform trouble shooting, technical support and process improvements to fulfill the goal of production output.
4. Involved in CIP and maintenance project for mature product.
5. Initiate and validate engineering changes and familiar with ERP system for document management.
6. Strong mindset and experience of risk assessment, cost evaluation and cross function cooperation.

Business travel requirement:

• Less than 2 month a year.

Minimum qualification

1. Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Hsinchu, Taiwan office.
2. Experienced in designing kinematic and mechatronic system, possessing knowledge of automatic system planning. (Pneumatic system design, servo control mechanism, robust structure.)
3. Experienced in method of machining, tolerance analysis and user-friendly design.
4. Familiar with CAD and drawing PDM tool (SolidWorks, Inventor etc.)
5. Familiar with FEA analysis.
6. Good ERP concept and BOM maintenance experience.
7. Fluent in English speaking and writing.
8. More than 3 years working experience

Preferred qualification:

• Experience of serving at similar position of semiconductor process equipment industry.
• Having the fact to work with software, electrical department to complete a design project.
• Experience to work with OEM/ODM supplier.
• Basic concept of thermal conduction.
